On Saturday 5th March the oldest rivalry in the history of ice hockey pays its biennial visit to Oxford as the Cambridge Light Blues take on arch-rivals the Oxford Dark Blues in what is expected to be the biggest indoor fixture of the Oxbridge sporting calendar, and one of the biggest varisty fixtures on ice outside of North America. Come cheer on the Light Blues in the best of hostile environments with close to 1000 Oxf*rd fans!

Tickets are £15 and include coach transportation to Oxford and back. Coaches will depart from Queens’ Back 4.00pm SHARP (please be on time!) and will head back to Cambridge straight after the game, so expect to be back in Cambridge at around 11.30pm.

The Cambridge University Ice Hockey Club (CUIHC) reiterates that it views the March 5th game as distinct from the historical Varsity Match played between Oxford and Cambridge. Recall that a varsity match requires full eligibility for all players partaking in the match.
