The week consisted of a regular regimen of practice time, fitness sessions and “chalk-talk” but a real highlight was the opportunity for the team to meet with and talk with the students about university life and their experiences at Cambridge.  The players were grouped in concentrations such as medicine, business, engineering, social sciences etc. and students were able to ask questions one on one and get guidance on anything from entrance exams and academics, to school clubs and social life.

Tradition plays a large part in the Blues coming to Zuoz every year; historically, Cambridge have played games there dating back as far as the 1920’s.  This year there was a one-day tournament made up of the Blues, Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz, the Lyceum Alpinum Zuoz Old Boys, and a local team from Zug all faced off in a one-day tournament at the school.  After several close matches, the Blues came out on top, winning the tournament and taking home the trophy.  The teams celebrated with dinner afterwards and all parties look forward to facing off again next year.
